I. Background
Thammasat University's Research Unit in Urban Futures and Policy (UFP) is a research unit specialized in Urban Sustainability and Urban Development policy. We advocate for our members' and researchers’ interests, to promote the development of Sustainability and Resilience in urbanization and city development.

We are seeking a Research Assistant(s) to support our project: Integrated Urban Climate Action for Low-Carbon & Resilient Cities (Urban-Act) funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). In this project, we aim to develop guidelines, workplans, and frameworks to promote a sustainable and resilient city. Also, to enhance the enabling environment for climate-sensitive and climate-resilient urban development at the local and national levels.

II. Employment duration: 24 months

III. Responsibilities:

- Operations
• Verify the completeness of the project's accounting documents.
• Record project accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review financial reports.

- Planning
• Develop and plan accounting activities in accordance with job responsibilities.

- Coordination
• Communicate and coordinate regarding financial documents, provide explanations to certified auditors, and share necessary financial information within the project.

- Data Management and Service
• Organize and systematically maintain financial records, ensuring they are up-to-date, easily accessible, and efficiently retrievable for those who need them.

IV. Requirements:
• Proficiency in financial reporting and bookkeeping
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements
• Familiarity with audit procedures and internal controls
